Robert Rionda's appreciation of the creative arts drew him into his second
career as an interior designer. A first generation Cuban-American, he was
exposed to a wide range of cultural and artistic influences through his
mother and design partner, the late Cecile Sanchez Peeples.

Rionda earned his B.A. from Northwestern University, during which he
lived in Paris for a year studying art history and architecture. He went
on to earn his J.D. from the University of California and spent 10 years
practicing law in San Francisco and New York City before he turned
toward his passion, and earned an A.A. from the New York School of
Interior Design. Rionda has traveled extensively abroad absorbing an appreciation for classic design principles and multi-cultural styles.

Although academically trained and immersed in the world of art and
design, Rionda's innate instinct and ability to understand his clients define
his design sensibilities. He lives and works in Miami and New York City, and
also has completed projects in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Latin America. Rionda is multi-lingual in Spanish and French.
